Campfire set at Deer Valley

Here’s some video footage of us playing around a campfire at Deer Valley YMCA Camp in Pennsylvania. We played to an appreciative crowd of Scott’s family and friends in front of a beautiful setting. It was a nice cap to our Appalachian tour. This excerpt includes Listen to the Mockingbird, High on a Mountain, and Ginseng Blues.

  1. Great memory boys! Especially loved the opening pan to establish the setting - one of our favorite places in the world. We can’t tell you how much it meant having you play at DV! Let’s make it an annual gig!

  3. Sounds great! Really sorry I missed this…I was still cleaning up from Dam Jam 2. Tangleweed should try to play the Laurel Hill Blue Grass Festival next year…around this same time and really close to DV(was Aug 23-34 this year-the first year for it). Tangleweed would fit right in and dominate! Jam on!

  4. I KNEW THAT LITTLE CAMERA WAS GOING TO HOLD SOME SWEET, FINE MEMORIES. HAD TO SHED A TEAR LISTENING TO THIS. IT WAS A HIGHLIGHT OF MY SUMMER TO HAVE TANGLEWEED PLAYING ON THE DEER VALLEY STAGE. THANK YOU ALL! LOVE, JAN
