Ernest Stoneman singing All I Got’s Gone
Ernest Stoneman recorded extensively in the 1920s for a variety of labels, but like many performers of that era, his recording career didn’t survive the Depression. Stoneman lapsed into poverty and obscurity until the 1950s folk revival renewed interest in his work. Stoneman enjoyed a second career playing music with some of his 23 children, as the Stoneman Family.
