The Beat Farmers were one of the best straight-ahead rock and roll bands this world has ever seen: tight, powerful, and immensely talented. Sadly, two of the performers in this clip, Buddy Blue and Country Dick Montana, are no longer with us. Buddy was a journalist as well as a musician. A memorial fund has been set up for Buddy’s daughter Lulu. From Buddy’s web site:

This fund has been established for Buddy and Annie’s daughter Lulu’s education. Or as Buddy would say, to ensure that Lulu one day becomes President of the United States and outlaws the Republican Party.
