Bill Jorgenson
Sad news. Wisconsin bluegrass legend Bill Jorgenson passed away early this morning. We had the pleasure of playing with Bill this past summer, and very much enjoyed our time with him. Our condolences to Bill’s family.
Funeral arrangements will be posted to Bill’s website when they are known. http://www.bjorgensonbluegrass.com/. There will be a memorial at Bill’s festival this summer.

Playing with Bill was definitely a highlight of last summer. He hosted a small Sat. afternoon jam session at the College of the Menomenee Nation, and we were invited to be the featured act. We played a 30 minute set as Bill’s backing band, did a quick set of our own songs, and wrapped up with a few more numbers backing Bill. “I Wonder How The Old Folks Are At Home?” was the tune I best remember playing with him.
